I have to take a moment to brag on how awesome my landscaper is!
As spring started rolling around this year, my husband and I both were dreading the up keep of our lawn. At the end of last fall, we knew we would need to explore new options for a new lawn person when the time came around to start mowing again. Maybe your initial thought is, "Why would they not just do it themselves?" Well, that was the plan... in the beginning, then reality set in! IT TAKES TIME TO CARE FOR YOUR OWN LAWN!!!
My husband and I both are stretched so then with our careers that even an extra hour, hour and half to dedicate to doing yard work became overwhelming. We learned we both preferred to spend that extra time saved with our 3 (going on 23, :) ) year old daughter or with one another.
Well- thanks toJoel PenafromJP Landscape, I don't have anything to worry about ever AGAIN!!! Having one less thing running around in my head to worry about is valuable!! ( For a lot of things, my sanity being one of them :) )
The first day he came to just cut the grass- I could instantly see the quality of his work. The grass was cut perfectly, he had moved my daughters trampoline to make sure to get under it and even took the initiative to trim down the bushes in the front of the house.
For the first time in two years, it made me realize- hey, we have the potential to have a nice pretty yard too! :) So this inspired me to ask him about planting flowers and doing actual "landscaping" not just mowing the yard to keep my HOA off my back. ;)
I was hesitant to ask out of the fear of it being waayyyy too much, but I did anyways. Boy am I glad I did! It was less then $500 bucks for him to go get all of the the mulch, flowers, etc and plant it! I let him pick the flowers since I didn't really care what type- just as long as they were pretty. He couldn't have done a better job!
What's even funner is, I forgot about us agreeing he would plant flowers until one day I pulled up to the house from a crazy day of showings and was pleasantly reminded. The beautiful landscaping job he did/does makes me smile every time I walk out of my front door. Its nice that in this crazy, fast paced life we all live in, that something so simple can be so effective in allowing you to slow down and appreciate your surroundings.
In closing, if you are in the Frisco/Little Elm/ Colony/Plano/McKinney/ Prosper area and you are in need of an awesome landscaper, JOEL PENA from JP LANDSCAPE is your guy! :)
