Sloan & Williams Winery will open a second location at 401 S. Main St. in Grapevine's historic downtown.

The second location was approved by the City Council in February and is expected to open Aug. 1.

The new location will vary from the Winery's first location, located at 112 E Texas St., as it will also focus on art and retail sales.

The second location will also be named Sloan & Williams Winery and include wine tasting.

Owners Alan Kunst Jr. and Ralph Mattison Jr. said a second location will allow them to rent out or close one of their locations for events while still having one open to the public.
